Perry Cross, Motivator on a mission... "To Cure Paralysis"

About Perry:

“My story is about triumph over tragedy, and the purposeful decisions I have made to push myself harder, higher and better no matter what life has thrown my way.”

At the age of 19 Perry Cross broke his neck in a rugby game in 1994, and was left a quadriplegic on life support, unable to move from the neck down. Most people in his situation never leave the hospital.

However, with the support of those around him and an incredible amount of inner strength and determination Perry made a major decision: "Let's get moving."

Perry is one of Australia's most highly sought after motivational speakers who has addressed such groups as the Australian Cricket Team, the Australian Defence Forces and many others.

Perry has established his own Foundation in 2005 to provide vital support and funds for researchers in their plight to find a cure for paralysis.

Cricketer Adam Gilchrist  and former Rugby player John Eales are proud to be associated with the Perry X Foundation as Ambassadors.

To find out about the amazing work Perry does to get more awareness for a cure for paralysis, please go to his website.

Perry is convinced that he will walk again and a Bond Uni Professor, who's heading the Research section, (click here to find out more) addressing the supporters at the "Possibilities" Cocktail Party, tended to agree with Perry's strong beliefs.

If you want to be inspired, read Perry's book "Still standing". You can order that through his website or contact him by email
